Our Activities
1808 Foundation runs a series of programs that run annually.
Free Medical Outreach
Leaderjoe1808foundation organizes monthly free medical outreach usually comes up on the last Saturday of every month. Each medical project is selected based on the occurring and re-occurring issues on ground at the Internally Displaced Persons Camps (IDP).
Empowerment Program
Leaderjoe1808foundation promotes good health care and well-being, promotes Quality Education and skills acquisition, especially the youth and widows, thereby reducing high unemployment rate.
Feeding and Clothing
Leaderjoe1808foundation organizes food distribution, clothing and clean water on a regular basis through a network of volunteers to Internally Displaced Persons and People with Disabilities (PWD) and collaborates with other Charities.
Education & Scholarship
Provides mentoring programmes and scholarships to support students with educational materials, payment of educational bills to aid in encouraging back to school programs for children especially the female gender in Nigeria. Free eye screening and spectacles along with medical care packages are provided to students. Spelling bee competitions are part of the programs held for students.
Annual Signatory Project
“Feed a Thousand” is 1808Foundation’s annual anniversary project. This not only covers the distribution of food, but a wide and growing range of projects that affects over a thousand lives in a community.
Local Community Construction and Renovation
Building and renovating of schools and health centers in Kikumi community. Construction of “The Big First Aid Box” which involves providing a free medical centre and providing employment in a local community.
Our Past Programs
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. 1808 Foundation emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
